Megan Friend graduated with a BA in International Affairs and Philosophy from the Eliot School of International Affairs at George Washington University. Megan is a Los Angeles native who is currently living in New York City. She has also spent time in Paris, studying Philosophy at Le Collège International de Philosophie. Megan has written freelance for a number of different publications including Meets Obsession Magazine, antimusic.com, the LA Weekly’s West Coast Sound Blog, roqbot.com, Mexicotoday.org and Haute Living Magazine. When she's not writing, she works events for the Village Voice in New York City. Megan is extremely passionate about all art forms including music, writing, photography, film and the visual arts. She is currently working on her first novel and believes that writing has the power to open the hearts and minds of individuals via the prism of the human condition.
